Workshops Career and Writing Skills, 2016

The career workshop, led by Golin Scientific Management, addressed our PP’s female PhD candidates and concerned individual goals, career perspectives, and (ways to overcome) potential obstacles for women in science.

The ensuing workshop on writing skills presented our PhD candidates with extensive information regarding successful academic writing. Our Coordination Team members and PIs Claudia Voelcker-Rehage and Otmar Bock gave talks and shared expertise concerning fundamentals of academic writing, how to efficiently write manuscripts, how to write constructive reviews, and provided insights on the editorial experience and journal simulation. In hands-on sessions, our junior scientists were encouraged to ask questions and collect advice.
