Kickoff Meeting 2015

At this initial event, each project’s main ideas, hypotheses and approach to multitasking were presented, reflecting our PP’s perspectives on structure, flexibility, and plasticity. Our central support facilities, such as lab visits, mentoring program, WIKI page, and discussion forum were introduced and information on equal opportunity measures and Graduate Support Program provided. Our PP logo and website were discussed, and representatives for PhD candidates and PIs to join the Coordination Team were elected. Members from all 22 individual projects (30 PIs, 16 PhD candidates, three postdocs) as well as reviewers a DFG representative attended. Feedback showed that the meeting was received to be informative, helpful, and a pleasant way to start our PP.
