Job advertisement – job position No.  4-6377/19-H


In the group of Torsten Schubert, Martin-Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, Institute of Psychology, a position has been advertised for a T-VL 13 salary of a post-doc or at least near to finishing PhD researcher for a time period of up to 3 years.


We are looking for persons


  -  with finished or nearly to finished PhD in psychology or other areas as biology, informatics, etc.

  -  who have good knowledge in the fields of general or neuro-cognitive psychology and are interested in neuro- scientific research; knowledge and skills in neurophysiological methods (e.g. EEG, eye tracking, tDCS) are wishfull but not necessary

   - who have experience with teaching of General Psychology (e.g., perception, attention, memory, motivation)


Tasks

    Teaching duties with a load of 4 hours per week in General Psychology and / or Neuro-cognitive Psychology (B.Sc. and M.Sc. levels)

    Research related to the work of the research group, which is aimed at understanding mechanisms of action and cognitive control, the impact of training, age, motivational state or other modulating factors on cognition and neural mechanisms
